to Support the 2008 Super Bowl

Boulder, CO – January 30, 2008 – Carrier Access® Corporation (NASDAQ: CACS), a leading provider of data and voice transport solutions, today announced that Cox Communications selected Carrier Access’ Adit® 600 to provide support for digital communications for the Super Bowl.  The Adit 600 is a multi-service delivery terminal platform that will allow Cox Communications to support a large number of phone lines, digital communications and security within a short time frame, delivering critical dependability and efficiency for the most important sporting event of the year.

This particular solution was chosen because of its high reliability and flexibility.  The use of digital communications links is essential for high quality audio links that have additional content.
